26.34 lakh ineligible Ladki Bahin beneficiaries removed from the scheme

The Ladki Bahin Yojana, launched in August 2024, provides ₹1,500 per month to eligible women aged 21 to 65. The amount is transferred directly to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts. Government employees are not eligible for this benefit.
