The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on a garbage heap near Material Gate No. 9, in an isolated area adjacent to the plantation zone. The fire was swiftly brought under control by the CISF fire team, with assistance from municipal fire services and the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF), BHEL said.
