Bank holidays May 2025: Check state-wise holiday list

Depending on the states and regions, banks will remain closed for a number of holidays, including Buddha Purnima and Maharana Pratap Jayanti, among others, under the RBI’s holiday schedule under the Negotiable Instruments Act. Notably, scheduled and non-scheduled banks will observe public holidays on the second and fourth Saturdays, as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
