Maruti Suzuki Chairman: 88% of Indian households can’t afford a

Maruti Suzuki chairman RC Bhargava said in the company’s earnings call that 88% of Indian households cannot afford to buy even a small car. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Bhargava blamed regulatory measures and rising commodity cost for the sharp rise in car prices in the last 5 years.
