Bihar floods disrupt life in Gaya, Jehanabad, Banka and Nalanda

Low-lying areas in the Nalanda district experienced a flood-like situation on Wednesday due to surging waters of the Falgu River, PTI reported. This situation overtopped the Dhuribigaha Barrage, causing a breach in the embankment after heavy rainfall in neighbouring Jharkhand over the previous few days.
