A fierce political row has erupted over the Election Commission’s special revision of electoral rolls in Bihar, with the BJP defending the move as essential to cleanse bogus entries and the opposition alleging a targeted disenfranchisement campaign. In a CNBC-TV18 panel, BJP’s Radhika Khera said the opposition is “defending illegality,” while RJD’s Anwar Pasha termed the revision “unjustified” and “politically motivated.” Senior advocate KK Manan acknowledged voter duplication issues but flagged concerns over timing and inclusivity.
