EPFO disposed of over 98% applications for pension on higher

The Supreme Court had upheld the Employees’ Pension (Amendment) Scheme 2014, which raised the pensionable salary cap to ₹15,000 per month from the earlier ₹6,500 and allowed employees and employers to contribute 8.33% of actual salaries if they exceeded the cap.
