FSSAI warns e-commerce platforms of strict action over food safety

FSSAI has warned e-commerce platforms of strict action for failing to comply with food safety protocols. At a meeting with over 70 platform representatives, the regulator directed mandatory licence display, hygiene training, warehouse disclosure, and strict SOP adherence to strengthen food safety across the growing e-commerce food supply chain.
