Starring Suriya and Pooja Hegde, the movie centres on Parivel Kannan’s attempt to win back his former love, Rukmini, and the difficulties he encounters along the way. Paarivel, also known as Paari, commits to his wife Rukmini that he will leave his life as a gangster, full of crime and battle, behind, but struggles to let go of his former life.
