MPs’ salary hiked by 24% to ₹1,24,000 per month, effective

The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs said the daily allowance has been hiked to ₹2,500 and pension to ₹31,000 per month. The additional pension for every year in service over five years to ₹2,500 per month from ₹2,000, the ministry added.
