Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project will be completed by 2028, says

On completion, the 508-km bullet train project is expected to reduce the travel time between Ahmedabad and Mumbai to around 3 hours from the current 6 to 8 hours. A 50-kilometre stretch between Surat and Bilimora in South Gujarat is slated to host the first trial run of the bullet train in 2026.
