Sun Pharma Advanced Research wins ₹28 crore CENVAT credit refund

Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company said CESTAT, Mumbai, has upheld an April 2018 order in its favour and confirmed its entitlement to a ₹27.51-crore refund of accumulated CENVAT credit, along with consequential interest where applicable. The tribunal dismissed the Revenue’s appeal, and the litigation now stands decided in favour of the company.
