Who is IPS officer Deven Bharti, the new Mumbai Police

Deven Bharti hails from Darbhanga, Bihar. He graduated from the Delhi School of Economics. Additionally, he completed his matriculation from Jharkhand. Bharti served as DCP, Zone 7 (Bandra to Andheri) and as DCP, Crime Branch, Mumbai. When the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government came to power, he was appointed additional director general of the state security corporation.
